Pro-Family vs. Pro Same-Sex Marriage

YES

CHOOSE ONE:
I believe that marriage is something that is:

something that can be re-defined by the state

Have you ever had the opportunity to promote your views on these issues? (provide an example).

I believe that marriage in the eyes of a church or religion is defined by the tenets of that faith. In that case I would defend the right to traditional marriage. Marriage in the eyes of the state is defined by the laws created by the state. In a democracy, voters are arbiters of these matters, not elected officials. I would respect the will of voters. Neither my opinion nor the opinion of activist judges are relevant to this issue.

About Me

Closest blood relative who served in the US Military, when and where:

I am a veteran of the first Gulf War. My father was a Korea era Army veteran.

Last two books I read:

Congress in Context, Haskell

The Second World War, Churchill

Your favorite US President of all time, and why:

Ronald Reagan helped to shape my ideas about the relationship between the state and its constituents. He was brave, intelligent, and likable.

Your favorite US President of the 20th Century, and why:

Reagan was a great man. I also value Teddy Roosevelt as president for his plain speak and his strong foreign policy and support for free market economics.

Your LEAST favorite US President of the 20th Century, and why:

Barack Obama is the embodiment of the wrong person for this position. He imagines America with a strong federal government with citizens performing as wards of the state. He knows nothing of economics or how wealth and prosperity are created.

When was the last time you shot a firearm?

While serving in the US Navy (1990).

Thank you for joining the campaign. We need your help. Despite the many wonderful innovations in election technology, the most important relationships with the voters are personal. Please consider reaching out to us and helping us to door knock or make telephone calls in your neighborhood. We can send you a lawn sign as well. If you are unable to knock, call, or have a sign, I encourage you to give generously to the campaign so that we can purchase the resources to spread our message.

Term limits are the responsibility of voters. While I appreciate the extraordinary power of the incumbent candidate, voters must not be denied the opportunity to vote for a representative who they believe is serving them well.

Your candidate may be pro-life or pro-abortion. That is his/her option.                                                      as he/she would not deny a child the fundamental right

especially with education in our schools
