CHOOSE ONE:
I believe that marriage is something that is:

something that can be re-defined by the state

Have you ever had the opportunity to promote your views on these issues? (provide an example).

Communicating with voters and in candidate questionnaires. Additional comment: we should provide mechanisms to offer same-sex couples equal benefits & rights, but leave the definition of "marriage" as a union between one man and one woman.

#3 - up to 8 years for Reps and 12 years for Senators.#6 - we should still review our defense budget and eliminate waste and inefficiencies without sacrificing the strength of our military#7 - TSA, DHS, Dept. of Agriculture, EPA, Dept. of Education. Almost every agency needs overhaul to eliminate waste and inefficiency and streamline and optimize operations

About Me

Closest blood relative who served in the US Military, when and where:

Father, Army, WWII

Last two books I read:

Jeffrey Archer, First Among Equals.

Your favorite US President of all time, and why:

President Ronald Reagan. Because in three years he was able to get the economy booming after the Carter crisis. While liberals point at $1.4 trillion to the federal debt added under Reagan, during his time in office, the value of all assets held in America doubled from $16 trillion in 1981 to $33 trillion in 1989. He also won the fight against tyranny of the Soviet Union and hundreds of millions of people found freedom thanks to Ronald Reagan.

Values/Issue Statements

I am running against the 36-year incumbent who consistently voted for higher taxes and unsustainable budgets while opposing meaningful initiatives that reduce wasteful governmental spending. The incumbent also voted against the bills that would promote job creation for people in Massachusetts and would reduce the federal deficit that will be passed onto the future generations of our country. When elected as U.S. Representative, my legislative priorities are to lower tax burdens on individuals and businesses and to implement series of real money-saving reforms to reduce our federal budget deficit and put our economy on the road to growth and prosperity. I want to bring balance to Congress, and by having a healthy debate, we can come up with effective solutions to our problems and improve the lives of the people of Massachusetts and the nation.

I am running because

I believe that many of our problems resulted from the lack of action by some Congressmen on Capitol Hill who spent so much time in Congress that they lost their motivation to act and to lead. Representatives like Ed Markey (who has been holding the seat for 36 years and who I'm running against) are not effective and do not make the right decisions or produce results that would benefit the people of the Commonwealth and the nation.

The biggest change I will bring to the office is

I will bring my well-rounded practical experience, leadership skills and independent thinking to represent voters of the 5th District and stop the culture of special interests and insider deals on Capitol Hill. I will also bring fresh ideas and energy to Capitol Hill and work on the priorities of job creation, economic growth, reducing the national debt and restoring the values that make our country strong.

I am running for U.S. Representative in Massachusetts 5th Congressional District, the seat being currently occupied by Ed Markey. I was born and raised in Malden, MA and graduated from Williams College. I earned my ALM (Master of Liberal Arts) from the Harvard Extension School, MBA & MS from the University of Maryland and MS in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University. For six years, I worked and taught in biomedical research as a doctoral candidate and fellow in Molecular and Cell Biology with dissertation advisor Nobel laureate Marshall Nirenberg at the National Institutes of Health. I graduated from Suffolk University Law School where I received my JD and a Master of Laws in Biomedicine and Health Law. I teach intro to law and life sciences at local colleges. Since graduating from Williams, and continuously during my career, Frank owned and operated several businesses. Currently I have a private law practice and manage a real estate investment fund.
